We are a faith based company - believing we are called of the Lord to do this work we call Elderly Helping Services. The company was birthed in us from having elderly parents who are currently 96 and 87 years of age and still going strong! We are a faith based company - believing we are called of the Lord to do this work we call Elderly Helping Services. The company was birthed in us from having elderly parents who are currently 96 and 87 years of age and still going strong! Seeing and experiencing their needs and health challenges first hand as caregivers was a true reality check for us. It was a lot!
Often while accompanying them to doctor appointments or visiting during hospitalizations, we would frequently hear "that is really nice that you go with your elderly parents to help them with their health needs." For what we thought was normal, actually brought some pause in our hearts as many nurses, aids and other health professionals would tell us, "you'd be surprised at the number of elderly patients who go it alone or must cancel their appointments because they don't have family to help them."
This emotional tug on our hearts turned into a genuine, compassion-driven concern for our aging population which started diligent research and much prayer-seeking to determine what our role should be to "fill the gap" to a bigger need. With the 60 years of age and older population growing by 33% to make up nearly 27% of the Ohio population over the next 5 years, we decided our role was to partner with the Ohio health organizations, agencies and families to provide an information assessment service to highlight, organize and prioritize elderly needs. Our goal is to bring joy, comfort and life enrichment to our aging population. Thus, the formation of EHS - Elderly Helping Services.

Our faith will bring that increase thru our fervent, prudent efforts to drive HIS cause. For it is HIM who wills all this to be, which we must never forget!
The true pinnacle of all success is ministry. This is the baseline n foundation of our work activities. Where HIS light is dim, HIS voice is heard small, and HIS healing power is not even known, it is our business purpose n mission to uncover our client needs (big or small) in all interactions. By witnessing the tangible joy n greater comfort in the people we serve we will then know our purpose n mission is being fulfilled and God is well pleased with our work.
